Granted we must work yet why is it that we place such importance and set our priorities on monetary things , instead of knowing and relying upon Our Father through Jesus Christ to supply all our needs ?
- One factor is advertizing in our country. Making us feel left out or a loser if we don’t keep up with the other guy. If we drive an old car ( yet paid for ) we’re a loser since we don’t have the newest. If we are not making X amount of income, have a bigger house and it goes on and on.
Results; both parents working and the Children left to others to be raised in schools and day cares. What will be the results of this, when the children become adults?
- Also shows that we are not living our own life’s nor caring for and raising our own Children with the security only a Mom and Dad can give the children at home and not truly trusting in God our Father through Christ Jesus to meet our needs as HE knows what they are, yet we are foolishly following the “Pied piper”
Bottom line: We are not doing it Gods way, we are foolishly doing it our way.
Jesus tells us in the Gospel of Matthew;
Matthew 6:7-9 NIV
7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
