“I lost my job.”
It’s one thing to hear about other people losing their jobs; it’s different when it happens to you. Now it’s personal. Your ability to earn income and provide for your family is gone – at least temporarily. And so is part of your identity. Yesterday, you could describe yourself by what you did for a living. Today you’re… unemployed.
But you’re not alone. Not only are millions of other people going through the same thing; you’re not alone because God loves you. He knows your pain and He wants to comfort you.
You can get through this challenge. Stay positive and confident. And if you don’t yet have a personal relationship with God, now is the time to reach out to Him. The Bible says,
Get involved in a bible based Church and join the Small group Bible Study , the support of others in Christ will be uplifting and supportive for you.
